Master degree in Planning Practice and Research,
Cardiff University

Darwin Leung has a Master degree in Planning Practice and Research from Cardiff University and is now a research project officer of the Kadoorie Institute at the University of Hong Kong. He has engaged in a number of consultancy projects for government departments and local organizations in the field of sustainability. These projects include community engagement exercises, planning and development feasibility studies and social impact assessments. He has recently participated in a research study commissioned by the Sustainable Development Division of the Environment Bureau, which involves reviewing the national SD strategy and its institutional arrangements in overseas countries. Besides, he is also currently involved in a consultancy project by the Highways Department, which aims at formulating public engagement strategies to identify community needs, and facilitate the development of feasible options for a package of locally-responsive pedestrian environment improvement schemes in Yuen Long Town.
